For bridal alteration specialists

Film the bustle once. Nobody has to remember it.

At the final fitting you show the bride how her bustle works. On the wedding day, someone else has to do it. BustleLink turns your sixty-second demo into a private guide for that exact dress, opened from a QR code.

No credit card required. No app to install. Works from your phone.

Emily's Dress

Pronovias · French bustle · 5 points

On the wedding day

  • Bustle the trainVideo · 1:12 · 5 steps

You show them once. They forget.

The bride sees the demo at pick-up, nervous, three weeks out. The maid of honor was at work. Mom filmed it, vertically, with her thumb over the lens.

Then it is 6:40 on a Saturday. Photos are done, the reception line is forming, and four people are under the train looking for a blue ribbon. Your phone rings. Or a hook gets forced and a loop tears.

The instructions for that dress should live with that dress.

Three minutes at the final fitting

  1. 01

    Film it on your phone

Record the bustle as you demonstrate it, point by point. Add a close-up photo of each ribbon or hook if you like.

  2. 02

    The steps are already written

Pick American, French or ballroom and the guide starts with the usual steps. Edit the words, add the point count, done.

  3. 03

    Hand over the QR

Print the card into the garment bag or text the link to whoever is bustling. On the day they scan, watch, and do it right.

How to bustle

Bustle the train

1:12
  1. 1Lift the train and find the blue ribbon at the center seam.
  2. 2Bring it to the matching blue loop at the waist and tie a double knot.
  3. 3Repeat with the two pink points, then the two green ones.
  4. 4Check the hem is off the floor all the way around.
  5. Never pull on the lace. If a loop will not reach, loosen the previous one.

What the wedding party sees

Scan. Watch. Done before the first dance.

No login, no app, no menu with fourteen options. The guide opens on the dress, with your video first and your steps underneath, in the order you teach them. Your number is one tap away for the rare case it is still needed.

Sixty seconds: the fitting, the QR, the wedding day.

Why it belongs in the fitting room

The dress survives the reception

A forced hook is a torn loop. Clear, dress-specific steps mean nobody is guessing under the train.

Your Saturday night stays yours

The guide answers the call before it is made. Brides and planners know exactly where to look.

It looks like the rest of your work

Calm, clear, with your studio name on it. Not a shaky text message forwarded three times.

A handoff that feels as polished as your alterations

A calm, dress-specific guide with your studio name on it, instead of a shaky video forwarded through three phones.

Priced for one seamstress, not a software budget

Your first three brides are free, no credit card required. Then less than the cost of one bustle point per month.

Questions, answered

I already text the bride a video.
Texts get buried, and the maid of honor's phone is not the bride's phone. BustleLink gives a link and a QR that works on any phone, with the steps labelled, and you keep a copy for every dress.
My brides are told to bring their helper to the final fitting.
They often cannot. Out of state, at work, or the plan changed. The guide is the backup that costs you nothing extra.
I don't have time at pick-up.
Filming takes the same sixty seconds you already spend demonstrating. The steps for American, French and ballroom bustles are pre-written; you edit, not type.
Is the bride's video private?
Each guide lives behind an unguessable private link. There is no public gallery and no search. You can turn a link off at any time, and delete the bride and every file with one click.
Will this teach people to DIY bustles?
No. It documents your work on your client's gown after you install the points. It is not a tutorial for installing a bustle.
What if the bustle still breaks?
Add a backup instruction: where the safety pins are, which hook to try second. Your phone number sits at the top of every page, but now it only rings when it really needs to.
I'm not technical.
There is no app to install. It runs in your phone's browser. The first guide takes about three minutes.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancelling stops you from creating or editing new guides. Guides you already published remain accessible unless you delete or revoke them, or the service itself is discontinued.
How much is it?
Your first three brides are free. After that, $19 a month for one seamstress with unlimited brides, or $49 for a boutique team. One avoided Saturday-night call pays for the month.
